The Eastmark Firebirds had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.7 points), and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They came out on top against Arizona College Prep by a score of 46-33. Given Eastmark's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Arizona College Prep is ranked 164th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eastmark's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anna LaFountain, who scored 13 points. Riley Farnstrom was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Arizona College Prep still got an impressive performance from Jaylee Aulds, who scored 14 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Warren, who scored six points.
