Basketball Recap: Tensas Academy Chiefs vs. Claiborne Academy Rebels
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tensas Academy can now relate to. They were beaten by the Claiborne Academy Rebels 66-33 on Tuesday. The Chiefs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2019.
Claiborne Academy was led to victory by Reagan Feazell and Garrett Adams. Feazell dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Adams posted 19 points and four steals. That's the most points Adams has posted since back in December of 2024. Dylan Buckner was another key player, putting up four points along with five assists and five boards.
