Volleyball Recap: Delilah Andrade's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Paschal over Arlington

Paschal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arlington Colts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Delilah Andrade, who had nine digs and nine assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Raymond, who had eight assists and six digs.

Arlington found their leader in sophomore Catherine Knowles, who had ten digs. Elizabeth Akins also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Paschal's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Arlington, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Paschal has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Godley on the 19th. As for Arlington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Franklin on the 16th.
