Menard made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Richland Springs, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Yellowjackets blew past the Coyotes 13-3 on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Yellowjackets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Mckenzie Compton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
