Central City Value extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping their season record down to 4-6 in the process. They lost 20-6 to Collins Family. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Collins Family this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-1 loss last Wednesday.

Central City Value saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Pacas, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs. Pacas has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. Maverick Pineda also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.
As for Collins Family, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
On Collins Family's side, Diego Huerta and Daniel Trujillo made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Huerta pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Trujillo struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Huerta has become a key player for Collins Family: the team is 5-2 when he allows at most two hits, but 2-4 otherwise. At bat, Huerta went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Trujillo went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Those two doubles gave Huerta a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Israel Arroyo, who went 2-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alex Santoyo, who went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
As of now, neither Central City Value nor Collins Family have any future games scheduled.
