George C. Marshall and Herndon are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Statesmen will head out to challenge the Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Robinson hit George C. Marshall with a four-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Statesmen fell just short of the Rams by a score of 7-6. While the Statesmen didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams 4-0 in the first period.

George C. Marshall got a massive performance out of Reagan Brand, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that Brand has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Devanney, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

McLean hit Herndon with a seven-run second inning last Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hornets came up short against the Highlanders, falling 15-0. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Herndon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for George C. Marshall, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-6.

Everything went George C. Marshall's way against Herndon when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as George C. Marshall made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Statesmen since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
