Volleyball Recap: Hill City Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Hill City had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cook County Vikings. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Vikings when the teams met back in September of 2015, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hill City was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22.

Cook County now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Hill City will be playing at home against McGregor at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cook County, they will venture away from home to square off against Cherry at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
