Basketball Recap: Metea Valley Falls Short of Bolingbrook in the Playoffs

Metea Valley and Bolingbrook squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Metea Valley had to settle for second. They were dealt an 87-58 loss at the hands of the Bolingbrook Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Raiders are ranked sixth).

Metea Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Bolingbrook, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 28-4.

As of now, neither Metea Valley nor Bolingbrook have any future games scheduled.
