It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Glenelg had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Long Reach Lightning 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Abigail Nirola was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had five aces and one assist. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Glenelg's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. As for Long Reach, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Glenelg has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against River Hill on the 5th. Long Reach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
