Hampden is 8-1 against Lewiston since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Broncos will venture away from home to face off against the Blue Devils at 1:00 p.m. The last three games Hampden has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Hampden didn't have quite enough to beat Old Town and fell 9-8. That's two games in a row now that the Broncos have lost by just one run.

Aubrey Shaw stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Worster, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Lewiston started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Edward Little. They fell 6-3 to the Red Eddies on Wednesday. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Red Eddies recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Hampden's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lewiston, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Hampden took their win against Lewiston in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
