Piper hadn't done well against Stranahan recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Piper Bengals won by a goal and slipped past the Stranahan Mighty Dragons 2-1. For the Bengals, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Mighty Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

Fritz Duclosy and Eric Calderon scored both of Piper's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.
