Baseball Recap: Booker T. Washington Takes a Loss

After flying high against Will Rogers College last Tuesday, Booker T. Washington came back down to earth. The Hornets fell 6-2 to the Sapulpa Chieftains on Thursday. The Hornets have struggled against the Chieftains recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Booker T. Washington's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Sapulpa, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-8.

Booker T. Washington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-3 defeat against Mount St. Mary on the 12th. As for Sapulpa, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Victory Christian on the 11th.
