Football Game Preview: Enterprise Wolves vs. Kanab Cowboys

For the first time this season, Enterprise will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will venture away from home to challenge the Kanab Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Enterprise put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They blew past Lake Mead Christian Academy, posting a 56-21 win. The Wolves pushed the score to 56-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Kanab entered their tilt with Parowan on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They really took it to the Rams for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-19 victory. Considering the Cowboys have won five games by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kanab didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Camden Cartwright led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Latimer Glover is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Enterprise's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Kanab, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Enterprise might still be hurting after the 35-13 defeat they got from Kanab in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Wolves were down 28-7.
