Basketball Recap: Hicksville Comes Up Short

Hicksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Ayersville Pilots 61-27. The Aces were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pilots from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Hicksville's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Ayersville, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-10 record.

Hicksville has already played their next match (against Gorham Fayette), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ayersville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-35 defeat against Jefferson on the 25th.
