Charles Rogers posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Rogers' strong effort led Centennial over King and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
