Volleyball Game Preview: Crossroads Christian Colts vs. Lee Christian Falcons

Crossroads Christian hasn't had much luck against Lee Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Colts will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 5:00 p.m.

Crossroads Christian lost 3-0 to Trinity Academy on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-14.

Despite the defeat, Crossroads Christian had strong showings from Sophie Wade, who had 16 digs, and Anderson Boyd, who had six digs and five kills. Wade is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Meanwhile, Lee Christian entered their tilt with New Garden Friends on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Bears 3-0.

While Lee Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11, 26-24.

Lee Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Crossroads Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
