While Central's win against Stillman Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rockets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Cardinals on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rockets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Stillman Valley, they moved to 14-7 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-4 loss against Hononegah on the 10th. As for Stillman Valley, they will be playing at home against Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
