After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Warwick, Burrillville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 20-8 margin over the Mt. Hope Huskies. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Macey Polacek made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Polacek was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Olivia Audette and Adrianna Carter did most of the damage at the plate: Audette got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Carter got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four runs gave Audette a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Grace Trowbridge, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Burrillville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 8.8.

Burrillville moved to 6-10 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Mt. Hope, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Burrillville nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
