Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gray's Creek). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Douglas Byrd Eagles a 22-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Bears have won 13 games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Amariya Green was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sasha Arjona, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Gray's Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
