Softball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short at Home Against Williams Field

Skyline unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 27-9 to the Williams Field Black Hawks on Wednesday. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Black Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Kendall Dasti made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Deena Lopez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Williams Field beat Skyline by a score of 13-1 on Thursday.
