Baseball Recap: Rangely Comes Up Short

Rangely lost against North Fork back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Rangely lost 14-4 to North Fork. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rangely saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcos Quintana, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave Quintana a new career-high. Bradley Lambros also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Rangely's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Fork, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Rangely will square off against Meeker at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meeker has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.25 runs per game on average), something Rangely will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for North Fork, they will take on Cedaredge at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
