Soccer Game Preview: Benton vs. White Hall

Benton is on a five-game streak of home wins, while White Hall is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Panthers will welcome the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Benton's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so White Hall's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Benton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arkansas' top teams: Sheridan, who was ranked 17th at the time (Benton was ranked 12th). The Panthers never let the Yellowjackets get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Monday. Benton haven't had any issues with Sheridan recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, White Hall got the win against Hot Springs last Monday by a conclusive 4-1. Considering White Hall have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

White Hall's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Benton, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Everything went Benton's way against White Hall in their previous meeting back in March, as Benton made off with a 7-0 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
