Baseball Recap: Sitka Wolves vs. South Anchorage Wolverines        
        
		
            
 With a playoff game on the line, Sitka rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They blew past the South Anchorage Wolverines 11-3. Considering Sitka has won 12 matchups by more than six  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Grady Smith was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   five  hits. Smith was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Bryce Calhoun was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Josh Gluth, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Sitka's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for South Anchorage,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 22-5.
 As of now, neither Sitka nor South Anchorage have any future games scheduled.
