After having lost a blowout in their previous game against University Prep, Big Bear was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Southlands Christian Eagles by a score of 9-5. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bears as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Abigail Hendricks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Hendricks was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
