Baseball Recap: Springboro Starts Season with Win at Home

Springboro gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They never let the Archbishop Moeller Fighting Crusaders get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 10-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Dylan Brabston looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Springboro's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was TJ Brown, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Coming up, Springboro is headed away from home for the first time to take on Moses Brown at 10:00 a.m. on March 28th. As for Archbishop Moeller, they will challenge Lakota West at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
