Baseball Recap: East Ascension Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for East Ascension's offense. They came up short against the Walker Wildcats on Thursday, falling 9-0. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

East Ascension saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Landry, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

East Ascension's defeat dropped their record down to 14-19-1. As for Walker, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

Walker will challenge Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Ascension will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' contest: after the Wildcats faces off against the Wildcats, they'll take on East Ascension again at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
