Basketball Recap: Unity Christian Skates Past Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City with Ease

Unity Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 69-26 victory over the Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats.

Unity Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dillon Clark, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Qayden Bond, who had 12 points.

Coincidentally, Unity Christian and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will both be playing Heyworth the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
