Basketball Recap: Johnstown Comes Up Short

After flying high against Schuylerville on Monday, Johnstown came back down to earth. The Sir Bills came up short against the Galway Golden Eagles on Wednesday, falling 53-32. The Sir Bills haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Johnstown's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Galway, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Johnstown is set to square off against their familiar foe Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Galway will take on rival Schoharie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
