Basketball Recap: Butternut Homeschoolers Beats Redondo Union for Their Seventh Straight Victory

Butternut HomeSchoolers extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Glenjamin Dellegenaramos. Butternut HomeSchoolers walked away with an 84-74 win over the Redondo Union Sea Hawks on Thursday thanks in part to Dellegenaramos, who shot 7-for-9 from downtown and dropped a triple-double with 41 points, 37 rebounds, and 11 blocks. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Butternut HomeSchoolers' points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Quandale Dingle, who dropped a double-double with 31 points and 16 boards. His big performance that afternoon made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

Butternut HomeSchoolers' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Redondo Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Butternut HomeSchoolers will be playing at home against Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Redondo Union, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Sunnyslope at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday.
