Soccer Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Comes Up Short

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Sharyland Rattlers, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 415th, while the Rattlers are ranked 170th).

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial now has a losing record at 4-5-1. As for Sharyland, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North the next time they take the pitch. Sharyland will host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on February 28th.
