Volleyball Recap: Suwannee Bulldogs vs. Keystone Heights Indians
It was close, but on Saturday the Suwannee Bulldogs sidestepped the Keystone Heights Indians for a 3-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mia Rivera, who had 19 kills, seven digs, and two blocks. Rivera is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kadence Massey, who had nine digs, eight kills, and two aces.
Suwannee now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Keystone Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Suwannee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Newberry on the 23rd. As for Keystone Heights, they will challenge Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
