Champaign Central has gone 8-1-1 against Urbana recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Maroons will square off against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Champaign Central's offense. They lost 7-0 to Peoria Notre Dame on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Champaign Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Peoria Notre Dame are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, Urbana came into Tuesday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Their defense stepped up to hand Peoria a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. Urbana's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last ten games.

Urbana's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Champaign Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7.

Everything went Champaign Central's way against Urbana in their previous matchup back in April, as Champaign Central made off with a 4-1 win. Do the Maroons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
