It was a good run, but Chesapeake unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Broadneck Bruins by a score of 6-5. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bruins from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Chesapeake's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Broadneck, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Chesapeake and Broadneck should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings. The Cougars will face off against Crofton on Friday with a big rank advantage (39 vs. 138). Meanwhile, Broadneck (ranked third) will meet Glen Burnie (ranked 160th) at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
