Recap: Tri-Valley Bears vs. Fallsburg Comets
The Tri-Valley Bears''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 38-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fallsburg. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Fallsburg got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Young out in front who threw for 29 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also picked up 75 receiving yards. Jadiel Monche also helped out with an impressive 85 receiving yards.
Tri-Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Fallsburg, their victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-2.
Tri-Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fallsburg will head out on the road to face off against Sullivan West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (Sullivan West is ranked eighth, while Fallsburg is ranked 14th).
