Basketball Recap: Hayward Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

There's no place like home for Hayward, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 63-52 win over the Mt. Eden Monarchs on Tuesday. For the Farmers, this counts as revenge for the 50-46 victory the Monarchs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Hayward has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for Mt. Eden, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 11-9.

Hayward has already played their next game (against Encinal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mt. Eden will venture away from home to face off against Arroyo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
