Volleyball Recap: Post Falls Falls Short Against Ranked Timberline

Post Falls faced Timberline in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Trojans fell 3-1 to the Wolves. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Post Falls' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Claire Ziegler, who had seven digs and six aces, and Lucy Carr, who had 12 assists and three digs. Carr is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season.

Post Falls' record now sits at 7-6. As for Timberline, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Post Falls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against The Ambrose School on the 3rd. As for Timberline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lakeland on the 4th.
