Volleyball Recap: Point Pleasant Takes a Loss

Point Pleasant lost against Huntington back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Big Blacks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders.

Point Pleasant was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23.

Lyndee Taylor paced Point Pleasant's offense, picking up four kills. Taylor got some help from Ava Riffle and her seven assists.

Point Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Point Pleasant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Warren on the 28th. As for Huntington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against St. Albans on the 26th.
