Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Cramerton Christian Academy

On Friday Cramerton Christian Academy's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Alamance Christian Warriors. This was payback for the Crusaders, who suffered a 6-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

David Bradley was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Carter, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Cramerton Christian Academy pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Alamance Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cramerton Christian Academy and Alamance Christian will both be playing Faith Christian the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Eagles at 2:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Crusaders will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
