Rapid River's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Superior Central Cougars by a score of 37-26. This was a revenge game for the Rockets: when they faced off against the Cougars on February 4th, they had to take a 33-28 loss.

Rapid River's victory bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Superior Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Rapid River will face off against North Dickinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Dickinson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Rapid River likes a good challenge. Superior Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
