Valor Christian is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Discovery Canyon, who was ranked 13th at the time (Valor Christian was ranked 18th). The Eagles came out on top against the Thunder by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Eaglecrest came tearing into Saturday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fusion.
