Baseball Recap: Coral Springs Comes Up Short

Coral Springs came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Highland Hawks, falling 11-1.

Coral Springs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shaquille Sala, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Coral Springs' loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Highland, their record now sits at 7-4.

Coming up, Coral Springs will square off against Florida Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Highland, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Highland Hawks challenge The Covenant Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
