Volleyball Recap: Escondido Find Success + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Escondido and Valley Center had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Jaguars on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Escondido had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-10.

When it comes to explaining why Valley Center lost, don't look at Olivia Becker. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and three aces.

The win got Escondido back to even at 12-12. As for Valley Center, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-16 record this season.
