Softball Recap: Grand Island Takes a Loss

Grand Island was the 12-0 winner over Lewiston-Porter when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 4-3 on Saturday.

Grand Island saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Lewis, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Grand Island's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Lewiston-Porter, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grand Island will take on rival Kenmore West at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lewiston-Porter is set to face off against their familiar foe Kenmore East at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
