Basketball Recap: Drelyn Truesdale Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Huntington North

After losing to Huntington North the last time they met, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights came out on top against the Huntington North Vikings by a score of 81-70 on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 42-42 at the break, but the Knights were the better team in the second half.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drelyn Truesdale, who went 10-for-18 en route to 26 points along with six assists and three steals. With that strong performance, Truesdale is now averaging an impressive 15 points per game. Another player making a difference was Dereon Truesdale, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 24 points in addition to six boards and three steals.
