Baseball Recap: El Dorado Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact El Dorado can now relate to. They fell 4-0 to the Amarillo Sandies on Friday. The shutout was out of character for the Aztecs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Gael Soto spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on six hits.

El Dorado now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Amarillo, their victory bumped their record up to 23-12-1.

While El Dorado had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
