Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Overhills was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 10-2 to Western Harnett. The loss continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Overhills saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Serenity McLean, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. McLean is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Overhills' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Western Harnett, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Everything went Western Harnett's way against Overhills when the teams last played on Tuesday, as Western Harnett made off with a 10-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Western Harnett since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
