Soccer Recap: Frederick Takes a Loss

Frederick's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Riverdale Ridge Ravens by a score of 3-2. Frederick were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Riverdale Ridge apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Frederick's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Riverdale Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frederick will square off against Greeley Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Frederick's defense better be ready for this one: Greeley Central have averaged an impressive 2.7 goals per game this season. As for Riverdale Ridge, they will venture away from home to challenge Berthoud at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
