Kennedy won the last time they faced Denver West and things went their way on Friday too. The Commanders came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Commanders.

The team relied heavily on Damian Ortiz, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. He also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Dylan Nielsen, who scored a run while going 4-for-4.

Kennedy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Denver West only posted an OBP of .375.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Denver West, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Coming up, Kennedy will head out to challenge Jefferson at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Saints have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.33 runs per game on average), something the Commanders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Denver West, they will face off against DSST: Montview at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
