Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clarksdale). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the New Hope Trojans 70-68. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-60 on January 3rd.

Clarksdale has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for New Hope, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7.

When Clarksdale and New Hope next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Clarksdale will take on Corinth and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, New Hope will try to stop West Lowndes' four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
