Volleyball Recap: Plano West Wolves vs. Flower Mound Jaguars
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Plano West had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Flower Mound Jaguars. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Plano West was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 20-25, 25-11, 25-22.
Among those leading the charge was Ella Willenborg, who had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2023.
Plano West is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season. As for Flower Mound, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-16.
